North Glengarry – I’ll Hear You

I’m Victor Brassard. I’m running for Mayor of North Glengarry – and before I ask for your vote, I want to hear what you have to say.

Election day is October 26, 2026.

Why I’m Willing to Serve

My wife Julia and I came to North Glengarry ten years ago and made this our home. Our youngest daughter, Anastasia, has grown up here.

I wasn’t born here, and I can’t manufacture that history. But I can tell you that North Glengarry became home. I’m willing to serve because I care about what we leave behind for the families who come after us.

What I’m Hearing

Over the past few months, I’ve been sitting down with residents across North Glengarry, listening to what matters to them. Different communities have different concerns, but some things keep coming back to the table.

Communication & Transparency

People want to know what is happening at Township Hall, why decisions are being made, and where their tax dollars are going. They want information that is clear, accessible and easy to understand.

Our Local Economy

I keep hearing concern about the future of our downtowns, existing businesses, jobs and what it will take to attract new investment. Economic development has to begin by listening to the people already doing business here.

The Whole Township

The hamlets and the concession roads keep telling me the same thing: decisions get made in town, and the rest of North Glengarry finds out afterward. Roads, services, and attention shouldn’t stop at the Alexandria town line.

Before you decide

I’ve tried to let my life speak for itself. Not perfection. Not a polished campaign. Just the way I’ve tried to live.

I’m asking you to look at how I’ve lived and decide whether you can trust me to serve this community well.

Will this leave our community stronger for the families who come after us?

North Glengarry doesn’t belong to council. It belongs to all of us. Welcome home.
